Gedeb Chelbesa comes from one of Ethiopia’s most celebrated coffee regions, known for producing naturally sweet and flavorful lots. This particular lot from Chelbesa is processed as a natural, allowing the coffee’s vibrant fruit and aromatic qualities to shine. The relative youth of the coffee trees and the specific varietals planted contribute to its distinctive sweetness and complexity.
Due to its elevation, the coffee exhibits medium-high natural acidity. Light fermentation during processing enhances sweetness and produces delicate “fruited” aromatics.
