Jerial Roastery’s Guji Hambela is an exceptional Ethiopian specialty coffee, sourced from the renowned Guji region, specifically the Hambela area. Grown at high elevations, this coffee is celebrated for its vibrant and complex flavor profile, offering a perfect balance of fruitiness, florals, and sweetness. With a clean yet layered cup experience, Guji Hambela delivers a distinctive representation of Ethiopian coffee at its finest.


Processing Method:

Natural (Dry Processed)

  1. Harvesting: Only the ripest cherries are carefully handpicked to ensure optimal sweetness and quality.
  2. Drying: The cherries are spread on raised African beds, where they are sun-dried for several weeks. Regular turning ensures even drying and prevents over-fermentation.
  3. Fermentation: As the cherries dry, they undergo a slow fermentation, intensifying their fruit-forward characteristics.
  4. Hulling & Sorting: Once the cherries reach the ideal moisture level, they are hulled to remove the dried outer layer and meticulously sorted for quality consistency.

The natural process enhances the coffee’s fruity depth, wine-like complexity, and syrupy body.
