Our RRB-technology (Rotating Ring Burr), invented and designed by Christian Etzinger from 2009 to 2012 is based on eliminating statical charge while grinding by compressing the grounds. Features like low retention, our Micro-/Macro adjustment and the direct, fluffy exit of the ground coffee are a result of this technology.
Other benefits like constant feed, speed, high energy-efficiency, insignificant warming of ground coffee during the grinding process, easy and repeatable adjustability with identical point of reference are based on the burrs and their optimized geomeetry, designed in-house and manufactured on our machines in Liechtenstein.

All Etzinger grinders are innovative coffee mills, made in Liechtenstein, that are easy to fill, adjust, open, and clean. Anti-Static Device:
The etz-I grinder with the anti-static device ensures maximum dissipation of electrostatic charge, eliminating the need for RDT (which can potentially damage the grinder with prolonged moisture exposure) and WDT (which improves particle distribution by minimizing static charge). This saves multiple steps and tools. Additionally, it facilitates testing various roasts with different levels of static charge. The small amount of remaining grinds (only applicable for espresso grinding) can be easily tapped and added to the ground coffee without any waste.
