Origin and Unique Growing Conditions
Nestled in the breathtaking Apaneca-Ilamatepeq mountain range in El Salvador, in the heart of one of Central America's finest specialty coffee regions, you'll find the El Faro family farm, which has been cultivating coffee for over a century.
Growing Practices
Sixty percent of the coffee cherry trees on this farm grow slowly in the shade, aging at a reduced pace. This allows for even maturation of the cherries and intensifies the natural sugars in the coffee, enhancing its flavor profile and resulting in an exquisite taste after roasting.
