USE & CARE
Regular cleaning will keep your grinder running smoothly and tasting fresh. Burrs and inner mechanism should not be wet, and can be cleaned with a brush or pressurized air can. Glass jars may be cleaned with soap and water, and the wooden veneer should be kept dry, but can be wiped with a damp cloth and cared for as you would any wood item.
WHILE THE PERFECT GRIND SETTING OF COURSE VARIES FROM COFFEE TO COFFEE, HERE ARE SOME HELPFUL STARTING POINTS FOR YOUR NEW COMANDANTE GRINDER:
– 5–10 CLICKS FOR TURKISH.
– 10–15 CLICKS FOR ESPRESSO.
– 15–20 CLICKS FOR A BIALETTI OR STOVETOP MOKA POT.
– 22–32 CLICKS FOR A POUR OVER FILTER COFFEE (DEPENDING ON DOSE AND BREWER).
– 25–30 CLICKS FOR CUPPING AND FRENCH PRESS.
– 30–35 CLICKS FOR COLD BREW.
